Technology Integration Experience (TIE) Thoughts

Today I learned about VoiceThread. It is an interactive way of creating lessons using technology and getting students in the classroom to use technology. One voicethread I really liked was called "I Am Thankful". It involved students drawing what they were most thankful for and they were able to record their voices explaining what they were thankful for. I could use something like this because it was a really neat way of letting them individualize their work and they could be very proud of themselves with the end product. Another voicethread I found interesting was "Exploring Bodies of Water". It was used to divide children into groups to , complete a particular task relating to research f bodies of water. I could use something like this in a classroom by having different groups research different parts of a subject, then coming together and teaching the rest of their class what they learned. Voicethread is a very cooperative way for children to learn through technology.
